Dr. Dunn is a native of California. A Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Dunn has been a leading practitioner in dermatology for over 30 years. Dr. Dunn obtained her dermatology training from the renowned Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland; a trusted research institution and leader in the field of dermatology. Dr. Dunn received her medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and completed her internship in internal medicine at the esteemed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Dunn’s commitment to promoting research and high standards of treatment for the underserved took her to Nairobi, Kenya, early in her career, where she received specialty training in the field of dermatology.

Dr. Dunn has published textbook and journal articles in the field of dermatology including Cutaneous Manifestations of Internal Malignancy in Steins Internal Medicine and Sweet’s Syndrome in a Neonate with Aseptic Meningitis in the Journal of Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Dunn has been interviewed for numerous publications and delivers talks to professional medical conferences and organizations. She is actively engaged in community education via numerous engagements and is a dedicated wife and mother of two sons and a daughter.

Dr. Dunn is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Women’s Dermatological Association, the California Dermatology Association, the Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association, the National Medical Association, and the Sinkler-Miller Medical Association. She has served on several boards, including the YWCA, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, The Links, Incorporated, and the Sinkler-Miller Medical Association.

Offering dermatology services to adults and children of all skin types, Dr. Dunn specializes in skin cancer, rashes, skin discoloration, vitiligo, hair loss, acne and nail disorders. She also specializes in cosmetic dermatology, including Botox® treatments, facial wrinkle fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, facial redness, brown spot removal, and individualized skin care systems.

Mrs. Ferreira is a native of Berlin, Germany. Mrs. Ferreira graduated from the Stanford University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program with high honors. She received her medical degree from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, and has a Master’s of Medical Science Degree from St. Francis University in Pennsylvania. Before joining her husband in California, Mrs. Ferreira worked as a physician in Dermatology and Allergy in Berlin and Northern Saxony.

Mrs. Ferreira brings with her over 25 years of experience in the field of general and cosmetic dermatology. She performs comprehensive skin examinations and treats general dermatologic conditions including skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, skin cancers and warts. Mrs. Ferreira performs minor surgical procedures including biopsies, electrodessication and curettage, extractions, skin tag removal, mole removal, and small excisions. Mrs. Ferreira specializes in the treatment of psoriasis with Biologic Therapy and the XTRAC laser.

Mrs. Ferreira’s cosmetic practice involves anti-aging programs, IPL, nonablative fractional resurfacing laser treatments, dermal facial fillers, chemical peels, sclerotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments and individualized skin care systems.

Mrs. Ferreira is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Hilary Hughes is passionate about enhancing natural beauty through the art of cosmetic treatments. Ms. Hillary believes in building strong collaborative relationships with her patients. Ms. Hilary’s mission: “It’s not just about the outcome, it’s about the journey we take together to empower and uplift each individual”.

Ms. Hilary is a California native, born and raised in Southern California. Ms. Hilary earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry before pursuing her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the New York Institute of Technology. Ms. Hilary practiced in New York City for several years, gaining valuable experience in the field, before moving back to California to be closer to her family.

With over a decade of experience in cosmetic dermatology, Ms. Hilary specializes in advanced injectable techniques for dermal fillers and neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®). Ms. Hilary also specializes in laser treatments that address a variety of cosmetic and medical conditions. Ms. Hilary believes laser therapy to be vital in skin rejuvenation. She addresses all skin conditions including skin tightening, skin discoloration, and hair removal. Ms. Hilary’s expertise also includes collagen induction therapy with microneedling, Kybella® for under chin fullness reduction, and platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) for skin and hair rejuvenation and restoration. Ms. Hilary also performs medical grade chemical peels and she curates individualized skin care systems unique to each individual.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Hilary enjoys traveling, attending live music events, and cherishing time with her four sisters, eight nephews, and two beloved fur babies.

Annie Song, a native of Southern California, loves skin! Mrs. Song, a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, moved to the Bay Area in 1997. Mrs. Song graduated with a BA from UC Berkeley and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from UC San Francisco. In addition to dermatology, Mrs. Song has a wide range of interests and training. She has certification and special interests in Geriatrics and Oncology. At UCSF, Mrs. Song tripled minored in human genomics, education, and mental health. Mrs. Song holds a Master’s Certificate in dermatology through the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Being passionate about patient health care, Mrs. Song has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings including quaternary-care academic hospitals and non-profit community health clinics in the East Bay. Internationally, Mrs. Song has led medical teams to provide healthcare to remote villages and orphanages in Uzbekistan and Cambodia. Mrs. Song loves collaborating with patients and believes her role is to serve as a facilitator and team leader in guiding patients on medical decision making. Mrs. Song believes skin health is directly related to whole body wellness. She utilizes the latest evidence-based research to help patients achieve healthy and radiant skin. Mrs. Song works with patients of all ages and cultures. When her three daughters allow her free time, Mrs. Song mentors youth and college students and loves to garden.

Mrs. Spooner is a native of the Bay Area. Mrs. Spooner obtained her BSN from the University of Colorado and her Master of Science in Nursing from Holy Names University. She has over 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating dermatologic conditions in all skin types. Mrs. Spooner has provided extensive dermatological care as a Nurse Practitioner in San Francisco and Berkeley, and in Cupertino at Apple, Inc. Mrs. Spooner believes treating dermatologic conditions encompasses partnering with her patients to devise and implement efficacious and manageable therapy. In addition to performing comprehensive full skin examinations, Mrs. Spooner treats general dermatological conditions including acne, rosacea, warts, hair loss, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Mrs. Spooner also provides innovative cosmetic dermatology services including laser therapy, facial volume enhancement, and neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin); with an emphasis on natural appearing results. Mrs. Spooner is passionate about delivering superior dermatologic care to her patients. She believes many physiological conditions are expressed externally through the skin; therefore, treating the pathology of these physiological conditions can lead to healthy, radiant skin and an improved quality of life. Mrs. Spooner stays busy with her son and two daughters but loves yoga and traveling.
